Dr. Sabine Capeheart
A native of Germany, I moved to the United States in 1994, following my husband Shane who is from Georgia (those Georgia boys will sweep you off your feet!). Veterinary medicine is my second career and I feel that it is my calling. I finished my undergraduate studies at the University of North Georgia in 2004 with a B.S. in biology. I studied veterinary medicine at the University of Georgia and graduated in 2009. Since then I have been working in private practice and started working for Barrow Veterinary Hospital in 2015 as a relief veterinarian.
I live in Winder with my husband Shane and our dogs Stanley and Copper (our special needs wheelchair dog), and our cat Ygritte Firecracker. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, jeeping, hiking, playing guitar, and swimming.
I feel privileged to have had the chance to work alongside Dr. Powers for the past several years. The staff at Barrow Veterinary Hospital and I will continue serving the community as Dr. Powers has done for so many years.
